300k does seem a lot for a 19 year old but the comparisons with Harris are interesting. Dont think anyone could doubt Harris was worth that for Leeds so if Myler can fulfill his potential it could be a good signing.

Wasn't Scully only 20 or so when he moved to Saints as well? That didn't turn out to be a bad bit of business.

Have no problem with Warrington paying out the money for him but would like to know how they will be able to manage their salary cap with their player roster.

Hicks, Carvell, Johnson and Westwood are probably on a nice sum, but under or near 100k. And with contract renewals i imagine Briers and Rauhihi(isn't he retiring yet?) are on a reduced wage to what they were on. I don't think Higham, Mathers, Clarke and Wood will be on that much. Plus the fact Gleeson must of been on a bit, so they'll have some space from that for next.

They're running out a few youngters at the minute aswell, so they'll be saving there just as Leeds have done in the past. The 2 squads could easily be compared in price range:
