Newton's been a very good player in his day, but he always had a balancing act between what he could do as a creative player and the problems he made for himself and his team due to his indiscipline and associated losses of concentration. As the years have gone by, the benefits have decreased and the brainfarts have not. I think he'd be a poor signing for Wakey, unless Kear can find a way to help him recover his old form.
