Quote ="Sibbs Rhinos"Just saw what Manchester City are offering Samuel Eto'o. £250,000 per week! How can anyone justify paying someone that much!?! All this rubbish about Danny Buderus being payed too much!'"
The money is wasted.
Firstly, as we all know from countless interviews with players and ex-players "they don't play the game for the money, they would all play for nothing such is their love of football". So why not pay the s nothing?
Secondly, they are all brainless s with little or no imagination (heading a ball once is enough to give me concussion so after doing it continuously from the age of 6 they must have either zero brains to start with or be brain damaged). This means they don't actually know what to do with all that money which is why they have to have at least one fake breasted bimbo with the IQ and taste of Kerry Katona to help them spend it (lets be honest - how thick do you have to be for your WAG to be the brains of the operation?).
Thirdly, it won't win you any trophies. Real Madrid won more trophies when players were on ten bob a month than they did when they were paying David Peckham 100,000 grand a kick. Arsenal had a legendarily rigid pay structure and won lots of trophies, and will again in the next few years.
But as it's football, I don't really care. Man City could buy the whole Brazilian national team and stick Messi up front and they wouldn't qualify for the Champions league with the manager they have.
