he's f**ked up his own argument! you are quite right, I was going to try and meet you before the game to give you the book, but realised there would be no way of getting to you, so I took my seat with enough time as to relax with a beer!
Quote="G1"Yup. Watched a bit of cricket in the sun from the perimeter with my pint, realised the crowds were building up so set off for North Stand at corner of Western Terrace.
Was seated with pint 5 mins prior to KO.'"
You were still stuck in the queue though weren't you?
I'm glad they played it on a sunday. Purely selfish, but it meant I could get to the game (without having to take a day off work) and do the round trip in the day.
Glad I wasn't sat in the paddock seats though - they must have missed about ten mins of the game.
We sit in the Paddock and took our seats well before kick off. That wasn't the problem, it was the people flooding in after kick off, meaning many people had to stand up to see.
My main problem is that we seem to be third class supporters, coming after both the cricket and rugby union. For us girls to use the toilet we had to go to the other side of the Carnegie stand (we usually use the cricket ones). It was a joke and the stewards were less than helpful.
Also, the RFL had that game booked well before the cricket, so they should have come second in my opinion.
