8 seats to elect, seems like getting 8% of the vote would justify getting one of those in a proportional representation system. Can't imagine the Lib-Dems can say much about that. Nobody complains when the Greens or independents get elected this way. It's not taking the problem seriously enough to just look at reforming the way representatives are elected, you need to create conditions where people don't vote for them in the first place.
I prefer first past the post for electing a national government, I actually think these elcetions have given our leaders the wake up call they needed.
