Could it be the pressure is on Leeds in the CC and St Helens in the GF because of the fact Leeds go into this game knowing its 10 years since they last won the cup. The GF ( not been arrogant but its more than likely going to be Leeds v Saints come October again, for one last time ) and saints will go into that final knowing they lost the last two, making it unbearable for them to lose again.
In conclusion to this rambling more pressure on Leeds to deliver this sunday and more pressure for saints to deliver in GF ( sorry to the other teams for presuming you have little chance )
I doubt the players will feel any difference in pressure. Comparing a GF to a 4th round game, I would think there's more pressure on a Grand Final generally, but I think at clubs that are quite used to silverware at the moment, the pressure to win is fairly constant.
