Quote ="Andy Gilder"In order for him to be "on loan" he would have to be registered with the RFL by Leeds.
In order to be registered with the RFL, he would need to have a valid playing contract with an RFL registered club.
In order to have a valid contract, he would need to have permission to work for a UK employer.
See where I'm going with this?
IMO you won't see Eastwood in a Leeds shirt full stop. Unless something happens to his motoring convictions which denied him a visa in the first instance (e.g. they become spent), or the UK Borders Agency changes its decision making criteria he's not going to get a visa meaning he won't be able to take up his 2010 option to leave in his Bulldogs contract.'"
If you look at the wording of the law he is refused on the basis that it is "is conducive to the public good" that is down to interpretation so is definately appealable
the appeal is heard by an independent judge here in the UK, even if the circumstances dont change he still has a chance of coming to the UK, the UK border agency is not making the decision
