Quote ="thebloodbath"His history of injuries: shoulders, knees, shoulders, etc is amazing. He has spent a hell of a long time on the sidelines, and when it's considered that at one point he was a world record transfer, you have to wonder if he represented good value for money. Then on top of that you had his huge salary, I don't think (epecially in more recent times) he was value for money. When he was on the top of his game, there was no doubting him. But finding a fit Sculthorpe was another matter. He was called the 'New Farrell', but Faz was hard as, and even littered with injuries he would still show up. Sculthorpe wasn't in the same league, doesn't mean he wasn't good I suppose. Then look at Scullies international career, he was selected for about 10 years, and how many games did he manage? Guys like Morley and Peacock (propr forwards) who have worked just as hard in their career, and maybe even harder, and who's bodies have taken more abuse, what's their secret?'"
We had 2, maybe 3 good seasons out of him IMO
