| So we don't have our own vintage style range so we sign a deal with Superdry and we're then charged £74.99. I would like to know how much Leeds Rhinos get from each sale compared to what it would cost to make our own range! Leeds united manage to do it for a reasonable cost (less than their current shirts thats for sure)
I like the first design but will not part with nearly a weeks shopping bill for it!

| Someone will pay it.... That someone won't be me that's for sure....
On a totally separate (and strange) note, and one I think has been discussed on here before - and this might get the PC brigade on my back, but why oh why do the club insist on using JJB as a model? I get that he's a key part of the golden generation, a proud Leeds lad and a bit of a cult hero..... But he's up there with Darren Rogers from Cas as having one of the ugliest heads I've ever seen.
I'm no advertising guru, but surely the whole concept of advertising is to make the product look as appealing as possible - hell, perfume/aftershaves use semi-naked super model types to advertise in the hope the naive public will think smelling the same as these models will somehow make them as attractive....
With all due respect to the bloke (who might I add is a top fella), Looking like JJB is not something 99% of the public would choose.

| Given that Superdry stuff tends to be on the "snug" side flogging their gear to RL fans might be limiting their market. Maybe Leeds should have done a deal with Jacomo.

I'd be amazed if your club have ever manufactured your own range of apparel. Previous ones would simply be licensed from an unknown, run-of-the-mill manufacturer using cheaper materials.

| The first design is excellent. They are a bit over priced as far as usual RL shirt prices normally go but i suppose you are getting a quality brand.

| wasn't the long sleeved 60's style one a few years back £65. Not too far away. Add on inflation, branding etc.
A deal with a well know high street chain, is ground breaking and something different from what others clubs have in their shop. i appreciate what they are trying to do, doesn't mean i will buy one though.
If you don't want to invest three quarters of a ton one, that fine. But no need to get your knickers all 'super wet'.

Agreed. And to be fair, Superdry are a global brand - so I think it shows at least the club are trying to do something commercial. A lack of money (and poor national interest/awareness of RL) in the sport is a big problem - this is just one way the club are trying to earn more - it's a positive for me (even though I wouldn't buy one, and I think their choice of model is bizarre).

Same 6 guys who were modelling the new kit at e launch (Ferres, Hall, Walters, Burrow, McGuire, JJB). Obviously just grabbed them earlier/later that day whilst they were there to throw those tops on. Guessing at this time of year many players are away on their travels with a few already back in Australia visiting family like Delaney and Segeyaro.
