But, to work it has to be based on fact, and the fact is that the guy with the huge reputation, who we have been waiting 2 years to deliver his magic on a big stage in blue and amber came up short. No different to the other 16 perhaps, but his early errors were critical in setting the tone and swinging momentum against us I thought.

More to do with law of averages (you're always going to have an off day), than the fact it was the Challenge Cup. I mean, as much as he probably wanted to win it, I doubt that desire over shadowed his first SOO outing or Aussie Grand Final.

Buderus had a shocker (by his standards). Disko also had a shocker (far too slow from the ruck). At the risk of repeating myself I've yet to see a game where the Buderus - Diskin interchange has been remotely successful........2 years & counting! McShane anyone?!?
