| Why are we playing today rather than on Friday?
and
Why is it kicking off at 3?
seems needlessly to clash with the cricket, sorry if asked before

| It’s usually to stop the supporters of ‘trouble-making’ clubs getting to the ground hammered and kicking off. Can’t really see how this applies to the two dozen sHudds fans that have saved their Giros and stumped up the extra £3 to turn up today.
Our stewards will probably outnumber them anyway.

| And what a mare it was. Loads of people cueing in front of the north stand once the match had kicked off, waiting to get to their seats. This resulted in loads of people in the front rows of the north stand having to stand up so they could see the match.

| No I would guess that they were north stand ticket holders who couldn't enter through one of the entrances further down due to the cricket, so they all piled in one entrance.

They didn't shut a turnstile. Just stopped people from walking along the cricket pitch to get to the right entrance for their seats in the north stand.

They had way more than 2dozen fans today, thought it was a fantastic away following for them imo.

| Why not have a game on sunday. There was a time when almost every game was played on sundays.
As regards to when there is cricket on at the same time I think the Rugby ground side needs to be abit more flexable as to where fans can walk when getting to their correct part of the ground, example letting people walk down the front of the south stand so there is access down both sides the pitch. Both ends of the northstand in the 10mins before kickoff were heavliy congested.

| I'm told the reason for not playing on Friday was because the cricket was on. They didn't want complete grid lock for the 14 cricket fans coming out of Headingley at the same time as the rugby fans would have been coming in for the evening match.
As for the over crowding in the North Stand it was a joke. We should have been able to come in through the cricket side but they couldn't let folk in that way as a lot of the entrances are to the rear of the wickets. personally I don't know why they didn't try to work a kick off time around when the cricket were due off for lunch
