Just been looking at our fixtures and we play catalan on sun 13/06/10 but England play France on the 12/06/10.

That should be awesome for us. Catalans will have some players in the French team whereas we won't have a single player playing for England. We might have a chance of winning a home game.

Surely they can cancel the fixture, If they have too many players in the international team

I wouldn't be surprised to see the fixture changed by a day or two could be Monday or Tuesday night as Catalans have a fixture on the Friday I think!!!! I'm going to keep checking the Cas Tigers website!

I posted earlier in the year that it would likely be rearranged for one of the cup weekends. However, with Catalans still in the tournament and likely to go through to the semis, a midweek game looks likely seeing as the RFL would never sanction playing the game on cup final weekend.

Well that will put attendances down as it clashes with Castleford Pool League night, i know 6 regulars who will miss cas match due to pool.

Damn. I go on holiday on the 16th so I wont miss it.

I think it's 4 but it's up to those teams. Obviously Leeds chose to play us despite missing their internationals.

I wont be going due to work,i could ask for a shift swap but the way we are playing im prepared to miss it (& i have a season ticket), there is only so much "dumb footy" i can take at the moment



I think there could be a record low crowd for S.L down the lane... poor home form,no away supporters,on a school night and Brazil are playing on the same night in the world cup.

You would think most forward thinking clubs would see this and offer discounts, but we are Cas after all

I'm actually quite looking forward to this game, opposition who are more our level and a decent chance of winning.

Wouldn't it be funny if Wood outplays him? A kid probably on 20% of what Serwin was on showing how to kick a ball and make it bounce before it reaches the touchline.
