Such as? In terms of expectations, I doubt many Cas fans would have put '1' against Cas's name when predicting the league position. Nor would they have thought Cas would be going to Wembley. Cas have had a great season. Saints started on fire but ultimately have collapsed embarassingly whenever it has mattered.

It just seems to be a common occurrence, and I don't even think people mean to do it. You're being honest and you are complimenting us, but it's done in a way that shows how (some) success almost blinds the fans. You say you've been "utterly shocking", implying that even if we win tomorrow we've only beaten your sub-standard team to the slot. If we did win/lose, you'd be second/first in the bloody league - regardless of whether you think you've played good or not, that's an achievement many clubs would love to have. The constant naming of the LLS as "worthless" or regarding it as a "hub cap" just demonstrates how jaded a lot of clubs are and I think it's why we're often supported by other fans - the underdog is good to watch because you know it really means something.

Almost none? We've taken a record number for Catalan Sports Tours from one location - Lloret. That's not even counting the fans in Perpignan and other locations such as Calella, and those travelling tomorrow.

There will be a good 600-1k contingent I'd say. End of season means fans been able to book early and save up for it.

Come on Cas. Just a few years ago you were in Northern rail cup finals. A fantastic rugby league club with great fans, it would be done by promoting youth within and amazing coaching. You lost your best player and improved. Worthy league champions.

Oh it does mean a lot, maybe not to some muppets at Leeds, but nobody is going to tell me that it meant nothing to Saints last night. It meant everything to us last year and is awarded to the best team over the full 27 round league season. I might have said that last year because it was my team, but I also said it because it was the truth, I'm still saying that now so go and win it today Cas. GOOD LUCK

The players and coaching staff deserve all the credit in the world, I'm in awe of what has been achieved considering where Cas were a couple of seasons ago.

Shame it did not mean anything to McBrough and co this year then who have concentrated on a top four finish this year and are looking a good bet to progress further in the playoffs this time round.

At least next year under the new structure we should not see teams coasting through parts of the regular season as they vie for a top four finish.

I think Cas deserve some silverware this season in the way they have played the game. We got hammered 42-0 by the Catalans a few months ago so if Cas can come away with a win, again you have deserved it.
Most of Saints fans wouldn,t have any resentment on Cas winning the LLS, we had 2 chances and blew it. So its in your hands to promote a different team to win silverware in the Superleague era.

At seasons end I will be proud of what the club and players have achieved, but tonight we were terrible, it appears we have a few players that suffer from Big game-ittis and if the coach is true to his word some will be dropped for next week.

I thought Catalans just did to us exactly what Leeds did in the Cup Final. They kept us under pressure for most of the game and basically used Leeds game plan. We need to find a Plan B for the playoffs because other teams will know how to play us.
