the booing was not for the lad getting stretchered off it was because the fans thought he had taken a dramatic football type collapse after the slightest contact which just happened to have been replayed on the big screen as he was getting stretchered off.
i think a lot of us thought he had indulged in a bit of play acting,but no-one near me booed the guy getting stretchered off,it was just unfortunate that the screen was running through a replay while he was being put on the stretcher.
i too hope he's ok and recovers quickly.

So im guessing by that and its a wild shot in the dark that our groundsman (Phil Redgewick) has advised em its best to do it in the summer.

sl finishes 1st week sept so football would be playing got it solid.

Grass grows faster at this time of year and so least disruption all round. Also likely that Giants will have some home play-off games.
