Hey, this thread still going? Didn't we all agree it wasn't ALL cas fans. Didn't we agree there wasn't much the club can do about an incident outside the ground, an hour after the game finished?

We all have idiots, every club. Some people want to make more of Cas though it seems, despite having absolute idiots as fans themselves. Or is it just Cas that have idiots as fans? The Rhinos definitely wouldn't have any would they?

Shall we make a rule about how far a bus is away from the ground, or how long after a game something happens, so that we absolve fans' of their responsibilities to their club's?

The RFL won't want excuses, they will want positive action - that doesn't necessarily mean catching the culprit, but educating the fools who drag your club down.

Maybe you can play a recorded message at your next game?

Go on then you seem to have all the answers,when do you deem that the home clubs responsibilities end towards supporters,players and staff of both clubs,if someone had dropped a missile from a bridge on the M62 while the Leeds team bus was on its way home,would Castleford still be responsible? when does it end? as soon as they are off property which is owned by Cas,which eye witnesses say they were,,when? because I would like to know when responsibility is absolved.It happened,it was disgraceful,but to blame Castleford Tigers is OTT.

apart from that i love coming to Cas great atmosphere, most fans are decent people but all clubs have dick heads unfortunately some have more than others

It's about the fans' responsibility to the club! It doesn't matter where or when, just that it seems, yet again, that the fans' let Cas down.

The club, for their part, will have to educate the minority and those with mob mentality and indeed those who can't accept responsibility.

That probably amounts to tannoy messages, programme, messages and pro-active stewarding. The club may not be able to do much more, but ultimately, if the fans' can't see that their actions affect the club...

Do you know as FACT it was a cas fan who had been to the game that threw a ''stone''.

I will tell you what i know as FACT, there's a lot of young kids/teenagers who hang around the ground after the game has finished. Kids who haven't been to the game.

There's lots of kids who live on princess street and school street who are always on the street on bikes.
So unless you have photo's or other evidence to prove as fact then tbh you cant go round blaming ''cas fans'' now can you.

I'm not defending any idiot of my club who does anything like this. But we're not the only team to have fans who have done the same as you've just posted. We were visited by Leeds yesterday, the set of fans who chucked bottles on to the pitch at a Cas match a few years ago. Not a half dozen, but absolutely loads and that was in disgust at the referee iirc. There's a photo somewhere which normally pops up on these threads. So not just one or two idiots but fifty or more idiots that day. We're the only club ever to chant homophobic chants aren't we? Was there any evidence of it? No. It did happen though apparently i'm not trying to suggest it didn't. What I am saying though is that it wasn't the whole crowd, just a few young teenagers. There was a massive uproar over it though and Cas were fined. At least the Leeds fans don't sing homophobic songs do they? Good job there isn't video evidence of them doing so sent to the RFL already. What would the RFL have to do about that hey, can you imagine. Wait a minute....
