| Cas showed exactly why their a super league club that fully deserves another license. A club developing good young British talent whilst the expansion clubs bolster their ranks with overrated and veteran Australians and Kiwis. Well done from sunny Bradford.

credit to cas last night they fully deserved the win, we just didnt get going and made too many mistakes which cas were always going to punish, they took their chances well despite the dodgy VR ref but would have been an injustice had we won, jackson and jones i thought were excellent for you last night and despite our dissapointment, a fully deserved 2 points for cas.

At the end, I found myself thinking, with a smile: "You never win anything with kids". The young players never looked out of place or remotely intimidated. And only three tackles missed all game says a great deal too.
Congratulations to Cas.

| Well you've done it again ...........i used to like coming to Cas but after the last 2 seasons !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously though a big well done to Cas last night, outplayed us in every department and stopped us playing - our forwards were hitting a brick wall time and again and once again Chase ran the show and terrorised us.
Hurry up and get that new stadium built, i'm beginning to get fed up of Wheldon Road now

| Fantastic display. When I saw Jones at LF I did think oh god! But it worked. Great team performance. Huby gets better and better.
A lot of credit has to go to TM though, The conditions were perfect to play Emmit in the 2nd row. He drove it in like an extra prop and took a lot out of Huddersfield.
Great time to be a cas fan! The kids did us proud. Still can't believe there are players in SL who were born in the 90s!
Just out of interest who is the youngest player to play for Cas in SL? Clark must be close. I know Owen was pretty young when he made his debut too though.

IIRC, Huby had just turned 17 when he played for Cas in '03. It was a few weeks after his birthday I think.

| Well done cas you deserved the win last night, the less said about us the better as we did not deserve anything out of that game. Was not a great match to watch, the conditions added to that i guess. Who picks your Man of the match? Because i still dont know how Youngquest got it, should have been one of the forwards. All the best for the rest of the season (apart from when we play again!)

| Definitely an outstanding team performance from our lads and a well executed and deserved win. Credit to Terry Matterson for having faith in our young players, and for finally appearing to have done something about the shambolic defence that plagued us last season. It was encouraging to hear his comments and that he was disappointed with the try at the end and that we'd 'leaked so many points' last week - obviously things they'll be working on in training.
It's the first time I've seen Daz Clark in action and I was extremely impressed - he's gonna be a good 'un. Oli Holmes got through an unbelievable amount of work too and will be hard to shift from the 17 now.
It's actually very difficult to pick a stand-out player, such was the quality of the team performance which was tactically and defensively superb considering the conditions. So I'll leave it at that, accepting there's a long way to go, but we've had a great start and the pressure's now on to build on it. Two weeks in there's only one team topped the table so far - it's a shame we can't defend our spot next week against the Champions as that would've been some game.

| So when did Huddersfield all of a sudden become a big club? they all seem to think already losing to Cas doesn't matter and they will finish "well clear" and that was the best Cas can play and it took a "lucky" try "that shouldn't have even been a try" to win when they were having an "off day".
To me that game showed more about Huddersfield then it did Cas, it shows Huddersfield are flat track bullies who when out-muscled lose the plot and can be out done up front by a more finesse team. We've all seen in flashes before Cas can do a defensive shift.
Their 10 fans seem to think that the 6 point margin was reflective of the game too Cas were far superior throughout and Huddersfield, imo were lucky it wasn't dry because they would have been hammered.
Another thing is pundits banging on about the conditions, weren't they more detrimental to Cas who throw the ball around? The game showed Huddersfield are one dimensional and not as good as everyone thought they were.
As for Youngquest's second try, they don't seem to grasp benefit of the doubt - the fact you can't CONCLUSIVELY see anyone strip the ball out or knock on, so Silverwood had no other choice to award benefit of the doubt because the video ref is there to find any CLEAR reason to disallow a try.
To sum up, because they've had a couple of good years the Huddersfield fans have become utterly delusional and seem to think they're a big club when they're in fact flat track bullies who can be out-muscled when that's supposed to be their "thing".

| Quote and it was chase that pulled the ball '"
i've looked at it about 20 times and each time i can csee the ball come loose however it does so when Cudjoe comes in from the side he joins in and the ball pops out but i cannot see the ball being pulled out, which i assume why we were given benefit of the doubt.
We aren't daft we know that position after 2 games means nothing I just hope we can maintain some form and put in some solid performances this year. I'm not bothered about what or how other teams are getting on I just want my team to work hard for each other and the supporters right through the year.
