Fantastic ground and fantastic atmosphere. Holds well over 12k and will be a cracker.

Great that there will be someone different at Wembley this year. Its just a pity that 25 to 1 shot Leigh could not have joined you. !!

On sale for season ticket holders from this Monday at 9am. The tickets are also on general sale from 7th July to August 9th. Prices are £18, £22 and £26 with season ticket holders getting £3 off each ticket.

I agree HRJr, I went to the Tonga game as well. I will be at the LSV watching Leigh take on Halifax as I decided to get a season ticket for me and the lad for only £160. I might try to get a ticket for the LSV box office, thanks for the tip

You'll enjoy going to the LSV. It's a cracking stadium. Just make sure you have transport sorted beforehand as it would take forever to get there on public transport. There is no train station.

A good idea also about been able to get a ticket for the Semi when you buy a ticket for the $alford game and it puts you in front of the general public sales.

Given average home crowds of each side, thought HJ might have been a better pick.

Both clubs should be able to sell at least 5,000 tickets each.

LSV a great ground but roads to it aren't designed for a lot of traffic & parking is an absolute nightmare

Ha Ha, as a Leyther living in Warrington, I can tell you that Warrington is by far the worst in regards to traffic and parking.

The HJ is also a poor mans LSV with sides filled in !! Its just a shallow box of concrete !

It should not be too bad. Plenty of parking on site and in and around Town, and both sets of fans will not need to go in the same direction to get to the East Lancs Rd.

Tescos is a great concourse for a pint though !!

I like Halliwell-Jones - think it's a great stadium stuck in the wrong location.

The worst thing about the HJ is the lack of parking. But if you do some research before setting off you can find a spot fairly close by.

The shopping centre car park is only a few minutes walk away, the big car park near the station, the side streets leading up to the stadium. And by train you can't get much better, Warrington Central is literally a 30 second walk away.

LSV has more on-site parking than HJ (obviously) but once them spaces are full, you're going to have to go quite a ways away to park.

There is Pennington Flash but that's pay and display and will only hold about 100 cars. 2 minute walk though.

Good point about researching car parking prior to going to a ground I've never had a problem around the HJ to be honest and neither at the LSV

I don't understand Snowy's di.. measuring about the two grounds, both, perfectly acceptable for RL and semi final venues and as for accessibility why don't the Cas and Widnes fans let the train take the strain? Very handy

My comments about the HJ are tongue in cheek. I wouldn't live in warrington if I had anything against the Town or RL team. LSV is similar in size to the HJ. Capacity reduced due to 3 seated sides.

If you want a quick getaway close to the ground, look to park on Hayman Ave, Kirkham Rd, Jean Ave or Sydney Avenue. For the sake of a 5 min walk, you will be on the east Lancs in no time !! Pennington is a nice part of Town and should be no problem parking there.

Loads of pubs in Leigh, start off at the Thomas Burke and work your way to the centurion or Britannia then follow the back roads to the ground through the estate. Etherstone street on the map leads you to the stadium nicely
