Nope it was Danny Nutley, it was in an Aussie paper stating he was offered a lucrative contract but found out it wasnt a nice place to be. |

No, it was Nutley. He said he returned to Aus as after he had signed the contract, the enormity of spending another three years living around the Castleford area hit home. |

What made you return to the English Super League?
"I’ve been over and back twice now… I made a decision to go over there because the money was great, I don’t regret it one bit. But I thought the money would be the be-all and end-all, but it’s a good lesson that money doesn’t bring you happiness… but I didn’t enjoy it and my wife and family didn’t enjoy it. ..didnt look after me, which could mean anything, playing in the nrl he's probably used to better training facilities,physio, better housing for his family etc perhaps he thought the attitude shown to him by some at the club was poor, like i said it could mean anything, but its hardly a detailed attack on the club. |
