| I haven't read every post on this entire thread, but:
Would it work for us to allow Wakey to use Glasshoughton in an agreement like they were going to use Oakwell or Saints are at Widnes?
I mean, this could give us a lucrative revenue stream to underpin the project, the stadium will have a stadium management company, who would benefit from the match day sales, plus a rental agreement with a fixed term for Wakey to figure out their future.
So, taking out emotion: It is not a share, it is an alternate exactly like Saints, it gives Cas income guaranteed for a term to offset the build costs. Nobody loses their identity, because it is not like Inter and AC Milan, it is not a shared stadium.
Without a furore or all the emotion, if I was a pure business man and not a fan of either club - I fail to see any loss on any side. If at the end of Wakeys agreement, they're no longer franchised, could they continue in NL1 to rent, sure - if they do build a stadia, then the agreement can end.
The only thing a carefully managed agreement like this should do is underpin costs for Cas to launch the project. It is like building a block of flats and having a tennant for half of them before you lay a brick?
Fire away everyone, I am sure that this will upset some, but you have to think selfishly and sometimes, the long game is the most lucrative, even if it is difficult.

So you would class salford HKR bradford in this as well.
I believe they have old tired stadiums as well.
Oh and lets not forget the franchise IS NOT just about stadiums.
Check out the RFL web sight.

| Isn't it funny certain posters haven't been on here for a while and suddenly when Ted mark II pops up AKA Mr Glovers sharing speach they start to come out of the woodwork again with their knowledge of public Inquiries and Castlefords bank balance. Tell ya what as they are so good at predicting whats going to happen in the future makes me wonder why they don't put the lottery on and put all their winnings into Wakey

2. Cas have options:
B: Keepmoat Stadium for a year
C: Redevelop the PROBIZ Coliseum'"
For some reason best known to yourself you chose to ignore my request for an explantion as to why you think Newmarket will not be built, just in case this is just an oversight on your part is this just an assumption of yours as per usual or do you actually know something, which if going on your past record regarding what you have announced about the new stadium at Cas like the full run down of finances in place and the timescale of the build "which you were cocksure was goingto happen" it will be very little if anything at all, your reply if there is one of course should make interesting reading. Just one other thing regarding your options as stated above, I would suggest that you seem slightly confused because if you are moving to GH as everybody seems to think and I for one do not doubt it for one minute, after all this is what this thread is about ie Wakey sharing at GH, then you have also got me and others confused because if we are all going to GH why are you thinking about other options vis a vis redeveloping the probitz, if you are not too proud to accept advice I would say to you either give your head a good shake to get rid of what is rattling about in there or leave the grown up stuff to the grown ups hth.
Please note I have also refrained from sticking one of those silly submission smilies on here because they are only used by insecure youths like yourself

As I said, the information on this is publicly available if you do your homework but if you'd prefer ignorance to form the basis of your "FACTS" in your blind dislike of all things Cas, then so be it.

Maybe you should research the reasons why things have not moved quickly. I'll give you a clue - it's on Wheldon Road.

| Question therefore to Swift62. Given the Frachise application is based around other items such as junior delelopment etc what gives halifax the devine right to come into SL.
Yes you have a stadium paid for by sources external to your club but what else would you bring to the competition over and above what cas would offer? What would be the benefit to the English GB game of promoting a team which offers less than the current incumbants apart from a new stadium - sorry empty new stadium.
The purpose of the franchise system was to make SL more competitive. cas being unbeaten after 4 games and playing 5 under 20's in that team developed by the club is surely evidence of this. Would you not agree?

The way they threw the study back is probably why so many Cas fans do not entertain sharing GH when it is built.

The East Stand was completed by the council, but the rest of the ground was funded by grants and by both the football club and the rugby club. At the last round of licences, Fax didnt have a complete stadium, and this was one of the reasons they didnt get a licence. Fax have taken onboard what the RFL wanted from them, the group is now compelete, have a history of delveoping quality talent from around Calderdale and afar, and if in SL would do so again.
So, Fax could offer everything that Cas has, and more.

| Exactly how many youngsters/halifax youth system players are there currently playing in SL or for there country. and when i mean Halifax youngsters i mean actually came through the local amateur teams into the 18's and 20's and then went onto appear for their hometown team and then moved onto other super league teams?
Your statement on youngsters and development seems to indicate that you have done so in the past (have a history) but will only be able to do so in the future if you are in SL. What about the clubs current contrubution to developing young players.Surely being out of SL and having a lower salary cap would mean that greater attention should be paid or placed on bringing youth into the current team ala Shenton & westerman who came through the ranks at cas in the lower leagues rather than having to rely on players falling out of SL. From what i ca see Halifax have yet to tick the box for youth development.
Like i said why replace a club who produce more quality youngsters than any other SL team than maybe Leeds & saint, with a club who have a lovely stadium.

| If Mr Glover could put down 50% of the funding for J32 would you be so quick to turn him down?
Half red, white and blue & half black and amber- for the short term.
When NM comes through the red tape, is approved and built (maybe as late as 2015) WTW move out & CT repay the initial 50% & thus then own J32 in full with WTW playing from NM.
A sensible and realistic way forward for all?

Ah, fantastic. We didn't realise Mr Glover had £7.5million in his back pocket. Surely if he did have, he'd mortgage it into a stadium for the Wildcats instead in the first place??

I wouldn't dismiss that. I'm not sure it would happen though. Does Glover have that money, how long would they pay back go on till, would glover trust us (not sure i would), would NM pass.
A nice idea in theory, but in practice, i really dont see it
