So many good things about that tonight and a sign of the times when a late try deflates us a little - but this time in victory !

I thought our back 3 of Emmit, Holmes and Jones were immense, but most of all it was the satisfaction that we look like a team and one that is prepared to graft for each other when it gets tough. That's what it's all about, not looking for heroes when we are 20 in front, but when our backs are against the wall and we have to dig in. A fantastic performance from 1 to 17.

Well done Cas. You stood up tonight with that gritty performance. You deserved your win as you were the better side and adapted to the conditions better than Hudds.

the 5 players from last years academy side take a bow boys you were immense.to be top of the league after two rounds with players to come in looks bright for the furure i only hope these kids can stay around for the next 5 years.

If Red Hall want any proof we are a great club at bringing through young talent then tonight is a good reminder

i thought it was a great team performance, and cant think of a single player who played badly!

was great to see milner, holmes and Daz Clark getting the game time they did, and finally TM is playing them because they deserve to be there not because they need to fill a game (probably with the exception to Cark tonight)

FInally its good to see Rangi alongside a 7 who actually plays week in week out! Think those two will be the major linchpins for cas this year.

Great result for Cas, I enjoyed an old-school game of RL in dour conditions and your boys were focused all the way - shame about the overlap for the Hudds try at the end!

Both better kickers than Dixon imo, he's just too inconsistent and that can come back and hurt during close games
