Just like we were in '99 when we spoilt the Warriors party in their brand spanking new stadium. Nobody can ever take away the joy of that night. Wigan all ready to enjoy a great victory in their new stadium only to find Classy Cas and super hero Adrian Vowles take the spoils. The journey home along the M62 that night was special with cas fans all banging their horns when passing fellow cas fans. Oh happy days - hope for a repeat on what is nearly 10 years to the day (an omen perhaps)

Great night for you lot 10 years ago, bad night for us, hoping for a cracking game this sunday (and a Wigan Victory)

I can assure you that it was no party for us!
Most Wigan fans that evening were pre-occupied with wondering what the hell we were doing in that strange new stadium.
As far as bad decisions go, playing that game as our first at the JJB? A playoff no less?

Thanks for that Chris.Taylor. i must admit i was expecting soemthing a bit more negative from a fev fan on the cas forum. As it happens i'm rather hoping you knock out widnes in the playoffs, would love to go and see fax play fev to decide who goes to the final.

Just been in the cas shop and tickets have sold out.

Don't know how many you recieved but I was told you'd sold around 1,200 yesterday so I would guess selling out would probably be 1,500 which is a great effort. Good walk on crowd and hopefully that will top 2,000 to make a great atmosphere.

Well i can be certain at least 4 will pay on the gate as i was in charge of getting the tickets!

Craig Poskit mailed me - we were sent 2,000 tickets and sold all of them.

also all the coaches the club has put on are fully booked.

fantastic news for the club and guarentees a great backing for the team.

women in Cas shop told me yesterday from people who have asked for more tickets but we have sold out etc... she is expecting between 3 and 4 thousand to travel to Wigan, that would be great and hope it happens.

A Hull KR fan told me that they bought all of our allocation!

Whats the obbesion of calling wigan a football town never has been and never will be.

If there any cas fans on here hope you make it a good atmosphere and a decent game with the worthy winners going through.

There will be at least 3000 Cas fans there, Whether we hit 4000 could depend on things like the weather. I really hope every Cas fan makes the effort to get over and get behind the lads. Play off fever is around town now
