To be fair we were second the other season, but i can guarenee you whe the season finished we didn't finish there. I congratulate you on a superb start to the season and you deserve to be in fourth at the minute however, i'd be very surprised if you ended up finishing there.

TBH I think we know that a top 8 finish would be a good season for us. What we have is a bonus and it's always nice to do a bit of dreaming. As far as it goes we've had a fantastic start and you wouldn't be a true fan if you didn't want it to continue. Which is, of course, why the nay-sayers are so funny with their petty bits of trolling!

Looks like il after be going down early to get a pod in the WRE, sunday against the Bulls was manic and i saw people entering as early as 2 to get there places, while i tucked into a nice sunday lunch in the restaurant

I have it as 7-30PM, which must mean that is what it was listed as on the original fixture list. The Superleague website and RFL website have the same listed. The official site won't load for me at the moment.

Oh come on, Trinity have been in this position at this point of the season for the last two years, didn't end up there at the end did we! So with your logic do we play the season in segments - in which case we have be "sh*t hot" loads of times. Or do we take the season as a whole in which case we haven't and neither have you.

Of course you could wheel out the old "the table doesn't lie" argument, but from my experience it certainly does at this stage.

I'd rather be on 10 points than 8 so good on ya but with 3/4 of a season left it's a touch fragile to get over excited just yet.

Still if it helps I think you're doing just fine, but I don't like saying that because it tends to sound patronising.

Just to disagree with the fan above who was having a pop at our defence, yeah it is the 8th worst, still an improvment on last year. However, who cares what our defence is, if our attack is the best in Super League (which I believe it is at the minute). So find an average & that puts us 4th. I doubt many teams will win at Hull this year, we have. And to turnaround a 16 point deficit in 12 minutes is a remarkable team effort. We beat the likes of Leeds and Saints last year, so I believe we're capable of doing that again this year. However with SL being so close & competetive, we will lose our fair share of close games, e/g Hudds & Quinns. 4th though, I for one am delighted with.

I care what our defence is, firstly, because while any win is a win, we have yet to win convincingly aside from Salford.

If we continue to leak points, all clubs have to do is deal with our attack and they're onto a winner.

Sooner or later, I just get the feeling we'll lose, and badly at that. Teams like Saints and Leeds, with quality from 1-17 will punish us.

i dont care about who dads bigger than who, whos league postision is better than whos. i've got me tickets i pick them up on friday £17 adults £9 kids and students. i'm bringing a wakey fan that i work with and we both agree its gonna be a belter of a game and may the best team win. i'm also briging a bloke who has never been to a game and seems to think rugby is fixed like wrestling!!!!
