well theres talk evans to celtic but only aloud 6 next yr we have 7 at min...i dont think widders will be here too which is a shame he ant had much game time

Contracts = Not worth paper they are written on.

Though they can easily be got out of by either side the vast majority of players see there contracts out, whats more i've heard no suggestion that either widders or the club want to part ways.

me for one would like to see widders get more game time now hes back fit,thought he was coming into a good bit of form

I dont think its a case that matterson hasnt been picking him when fit, and i have no doubt whne he returns (hopefully this week) he will be in the squad, ryan clayton is unlikley to keep him out.

I really don't understand TM sometimes,we finally find a position were McGoldick excels and then he weakens the side by playing him somewhere else.

Very much agree about orr, but if we can afford him is another matter. Would personally let ford go before wainwright, evans has been great for us scoring tries and basically holding the defence up on that side vurtually single handed, netherton has been a very good signing to, when he is spelled with hudson he brings alot to our attack, he's also a young british talent that will continue to improve over time. If we did get orr we could have orr/shifty in the halves and hudson/netherton at hooker with chase to fill in in either position due to form and injuries. We will never become a top team with out at least 5 players to fill thses 4 positions. Agree that goldy is best used at fullback, tm has been forced to play him in the halves to an extent, though personaly i would play westy there.

sherwin is now 31,would we be better of bringing a good young 7 to play along side rangi chase..

That would be the ideal option someone like eastmond or myler, but i cant see it happening, we have brierly and thompson coming through for the standoff position in the future but we may have to buy in 7's for a few years.

Think he's another quota player, reckon the club would want better quality for a quota player than Black, would like to see Beswick from Fax down the lane though!

You don't want Langley, he's bulked up too much resulting in loss of his ball handling skills etc.

Not much to improve the squad there but there are a few possibilities.

Gilmour, vinnie anderson and G horne would improve the back row instead of clayton and sione f.

Everyone says we need more cover at wing and fullback so dave halley would be a good addition in that area .

Out of that list i'd like to see Lynch, M Cook, Halley, and Gilmour.
Thought Chris Bridge was out of contract too, i would like him too cos he can cover centre, full back, stand off and scrum half.

Lynch would have been a good signing - But has turned us down and will probably head to humberside as both clubs want him.

I wouldnt say no to Paul Sykes replacing James Evans, He is versatile, Has a good boot and is british
Shaun Ainscough will get snapped up, So may as well take him off there - I would sign him though.
