on a serious note , if this is true its very sad imo.
the head coach has handled Joe badly , he's enforced no discapline within the squad. Now Joe has had a few people questioning is drinking etc people are saying he is a trouble maker . I think its harsh and it sounds like a similar story to liam watts . Both these players will go on to have great international careers. But they are not at cas due to bad management.
Dont be supprised to hear more from players who have left the club about the cultures within the squad and coaching staff .

They are also saying that a different location for the new cas ground was discussed at board level on thursday! Amazing if true?

Why would they even think about not relocating to the Glasshoughton site. Waystone are putting money into that and the outline planing is already done. Trying to move anywhere else would be silly.

Couldn't agree more,however a poster on the other forum who appears to be a major shareholder is saying the hicksons site has been mentioned.Hope this is nonsense GH gets built.

He likes to say he's a shareholder but as far as I've read, he shys away every time he's called on proving it.

He's actually posted a list of shareholders on an earlier thread including his own substantial holding,however he does seem to have an axe to grind with RW!

no , i have just been reading what has been said and drawn my own conclusions and as a cas fan for 35 years i am getting worried. I suppose what i would like is for someone to put my mind at rest . Things look really bad , selling joe , stadium , idiots at the helm in every dept -1st team, development, community- the only good I hear is the work of the commercial dept and we may lose that guy .
All this i am told by people involved with the club- good people not just prats with an axe to grind .

Things will look bad if you treat unfounded rumours by people with axes to grind as 'information'.

FWIW - I was speaking with a collegue this morning who used to work in Joe's old school, he was speaking with him yesterday about his career etc. (completely oblivious about the Hull rumour until I asked if it came up), hardly conclusive proof but Joe definitely did not mention this during the conversation.

As I chalenged him on t'other forum, if he is so influential and knows so much , why isnt he fighting his corner in the proper places not on an internet forum, while he appears to be relishing the prospect of the club and RW failing with ground and superleague etc

with friends like robbo, cas dont need any enemies elsewhere

I would be disappointed if they hadn't discussed it. I suspect it would have been a quick decision to rule it out given, as you say, they are very far down the road with GH. However, they owe it to the club to discuss all possible options, even if only to rule them out.

You can spin these things however you want. To say they discussed it could mean it was a two line conversation: "What about looking at Hicksons site?" "No, we'll stick to GH." There, it's been discussed.
