If I was a Cas fan, I'd be questioning the players fitness.

At about the 55 minute mark most of the Cas team looked out on their feet. There was a point where Cas were in possession at that time and half the side were still walking back from behind the Bulls defence for 2 tackles.

Must be awful for you though coming on here fishing for bites when around ten/fifteen years ago you would have been exchanging views with fans who's sides were right at the top of the table.

To me the toughness was lacking from the start, if not the effort. Cas players should have steamed in when Scruton flattened O'Brien, whether ultimately it is proved late or not. It would have focussed attention on the tackle much more & given a message to the Bulls players about the consequences.

The physicality of the Cas performance has certainly gone up a few notches this year - we need a bit more flair in attack. When Chase is back we will be a different team to the one we saw last night.

For 60 mins thought we played as well as we did against Leeds. Undoubtedly missed Rangi as any team would but we were beaten in the forwards and that's where Millward needs to concentrate his efforts for improvement.

Still way better than last yrs shambles n a couple of flattering late tries shouldn't have us losing sight of that.

The reason we were walking back is we've come off an intense game against Leeds and made some costly errors in our own half that led to us defending our own line a lot. Without the ball, you get knackered.

Whether Rangi was badly done to or not is another matter Scruton should have been penalised with a penalty and that's it.

Wrong. Without the Man of Steel 2011 / our best player, with our dreadful record at Odsal, plus Bradford are a decent team, I had minimal optimism for yesterday. Didn't stop me going & supporting my team but deep down I expected a defeat.

No, I was commenting that Rangi's ban for his tackle on Hardaker will have been longer because of his tackle on Roparti last season.

I enjoyed the game, real tough battle and great commitment from both teams. Cas look a decent side, hopefully when we meet again this season we will both have our play makers on the pitch.

Our pack was the difference, making easy metres and Cas just couldn't cope at times. In defence we restricted your forwards, yet you just kept trying to come up the middle.

Disappointed with Millward's comments at the end, all a bit petty and unprofessional.

We lost the game Thursday when rangi got banned! Plus we we never gunner get the rub of the green against a team backed and funded by the RFL, how many time did bulls rip the ball out and get away with it! A one sided display from ganson from the third min onwards!! No wonder the game is dying with the inconsistent crap coming out of redhall

he may have been committed to the collision but he had time to change the point and nature of impact. what irked me most was insult being added to injury by jon walker being penalised for a flop moments later when he had even less time to react.
speaking of walker am i right in thinking he was used only for the first 20mins?if so and he wasn't injured that would seem a criminal misuse of forward rotation bearing in mind the battering we were taking upfront.
still we did make the bulls work for the win - and 26-12 would have been a fairer reflection - but the two points were always headed in their direction. they actually reminded me of the great bulls teams who used to push us back the length of the field in five straight drives although our relatively lightweight pack made the job easier than it will be most weeks.

everybody is on about the forwards but why is millward only playing jonny walker for 20 mins at the bulls and last week at leeds isnt that a waste of a player who will never get match fitness and hes let emmitt go on loan what i saw last night walker stopped every thing that come is way ,we will be needing as much size and fitness to beat catalans next week,

he must have taken a knock it was a hard game i would have thought a lot of players took knocks
