in your opinion the majority say it went over but the officials didnt thats all that maters, as for ganson in what way hudds laid on all the game slowin it down and only in the last 1/4 did he send someone for it.

Still, Cas had enough ball and position to win the game and couldnt, end of story.

Rightly so as well with the holding down that was going on which Huddersfield didn't get punished for nearly enough.

Like most others - it looked over to me, from where I was stood in the Princess St stand. But it didn't to the touchies from where they were stood.

And like Binks said, they're the ones whose view counts.

And, we should have made the one-man advantage in the last 10 count. But we didn't - no complaint about the result.

We can't complain about the ref, look at the penalty count - we can't complain about the kick - we have only ourselves to blame, flat in attack for the best part, not putting the ball down properly for the Ferres try and the fact that Hudds defence was absolutely awesome for 80 mins, even with 1 man in the sin bin.

Wouldnt bother mate, every time cas have played hudds since iv been registered on here (2003) you trust in code 13 for the most biased one yed crap view of the match on here. Hudds have never done anything wrong deserve to win every game they play in and were better than the opposition *yawn*

No complaints from me ,Thats the luck of the draw as they saw ,ifs and buts can win any game If Ferres had held on to the ball ,If Ritchie Owen was a foot taller, if it wasn't windy we'd have had got to the 1st kick off etc etc
Fair play to the Giants defence a real tough nut to crack ,both teams are top eight certainties at the mo (wouldn't bother me in the slightest if the top eight consisted of all Yorkshire teams

I thought it went over, the touch judge furthest back was also about to put his flag up but saw that the other didn't give it and did the same.

That being said, Cas had plenty of chances to win the game and these things happen, they tend to even themselves out over the course of a season.

Fantastic game of rugby league, I believe a draw would have been a fair result considering the effort from both sides but fair play to Hudds. Must have been great entertainment for the neutrals.

Wasn't there a kick in the Salford game that didn't go over that was given?

Actually if you counted the seconds Huddersfield were holding onto the tackled Castleford player, it was normally about 5/6 seconds which is too long. When Huddersfield were in posession, the Castleford defence were off them after 4 seconds but Huddersfield were taking longer to get up and play the ball, hence no offence was being committed.



You're absolutely right and Huddersfield's defence was awesome, and eventually decided the game. If only Ferres had grounded the ball with two hands...

I thought it went over, and would have changed things, as you would have gone for the drop rather than pushing for the try. Maybe the camera angle distorted it, as one of the touch judges would have been right under the post as it went over.

Good game though. Would have preferred a draw, just because I didn't want either of you to win.

The touchjudges were blind to it. You could see from the Wheldon Road end that the ball went over.

Everyone should have noticed that this season the refs are letting teams lay on longer in the tackle (same in Oz). Before this season players had to roll away as soon as the player was tackled, but not so now they are allowing more seconds to lay on and teams are taking advantage, so don`t blame Huddersfield for playing to the rules.

Playing to the rules? Is that why the penalty count was 14-5?

4th in the fair play index would suggest not all refs penalise us as much as that clown

Watched the game on sky and it looked good to me. Just another poor decision by our inept officials

It was over, but Ganson also didn't allow them to take the penalty right on the hooter (or so it seemed to me), pretty shoddy though.

Yep, big well done to Dicko. There wasn't a swirling wind or even a 70mph wind we had in Perpignan and Dicko converted his own try from the touchline, plus the other two.

must admit I was one gave grave doubts about the kicking abilities of you winning a game but tonight you've done it, nice one especially if it puts us top of the league on Sunday night

He made a huge mistake when we got a penalty when he kicked the ball and it did not reach the touchline but he made up for it with his conversions. Fair play to him
