I didn't think any of the lads played bad tonight - give credit where it's due KR are second for a reason. I'd have liked to have seen a fully fit Goldy in the mix too because we might have had them with him as a factor, but I'm still glad we saved him for the Cup game.

Thanks to Wire though - they kept us in the eight for another couple of weeks at least. Once the Cup odyssey is over (ie: when we've won it!

) we can refocus on the league, so it'll be great if we're still in the mix.

The ref was no where near as bad as they I guess made out (I wouldnt know I was at the game).
But you got penalised 4 times for head shots and numerous times for messing about in the tackle to the point that I thought a sin bin was in order late on.
The only puzzling decision I can think of was the penalty against Clint Newton for a shove off the ball (Deserved), but yet when you shoved off the ball actually in the play of the ball Hewer seemed to ignore it but I guess inconsistancy is what the refs do well.

Why not positivity towards Rovers and not concentrating on the opposition and their 'tactics', if they were 'tactic's they obviously didn't tell in the end and therefore why be worried about 'them'.

Souds like cas were penalised out of the game.

Another narrow loss, and another that arguably went against us in the penalty count.

I can't comment on the validity of those penalties, but if we're going to help sides up the field, then expect to have points put past us.

Ive watched the utter poo we have served up over the years but cas got done four times for head shots tonight and they could have easily had a player in the bin due to the consistant slowing down/high shot tactics.

I've got nothing against whining at refereeing decisions if it float your boat, but tbh I'd prefer it if you kept it on your own board especially when you've won the game. Coming on here and banging on about it is just taking the p*ss in my view, but maybe I'm just old enough to recall what 'magnanimous' means.

Whatever. Your analysis certainly doesn't reflect the 12-5 penalty count in KR's favour, or the (according to the impartial Yorkshire Radio team) numerous 50-50's which went the home side's way. Perhaps they're all Cas fans?
