had his team been able to turn their huge advantage in penalties, possesion, territory into a win, which lets face it, most teams having such an advantage would win a game, then i doubt he would have even noticed the 3 penalties awarded for hig/grapple tackles

how can a team awarded 14 penalties to 5 and had over half of the possesion and territory and even had the added luxury of playing against 12 men for 10 minutes still not win a game is a joke

i did notice that, thats what won us the game, i think we defended 22 tackles on our line before we eventually cracked, not many teams will do that

Because on your own line you were never onside, which is why we had to play so deep and loose 20 or so yards at every play the ball. at one point luke robinson actually stood at least 2 yards offside right next to the ref and nothing was giving.

we may have had a load on penalties but deserved em same as or three video calls we rightly given 'no tries'

Plus Huddersfield were off-side at every Cas scrum feed.
Always moving up soon as ball goes in scrum,instead of waiting for the ball to come out.
I get the impression with Huddersfield every time Ive seen them play they would rather give away a penalty then let the opposition get a roll on.

It was a combination of Huddersfields excellent last line of defence and Castlefords poor attack.

I can't remember the last time a team was gifted so much territory and did so little with it.

You were playing against an understrength Huddersfield Pack aswell, every thing was in your favour and you blew it. I would of expected Salford to get the win in that situation.

Mr Matterson needs to look closer to home before passing the blame for his players abysmal decision making.

Lets face it if Cas had scored a late try and won, Matterson wouldn't of said Jack about the alleged grapple tackles.

not only did we have an understrength pack we also had kirmond,walsh,lawrence,cudjoe,patrick and lunt who have very little SL experience ,indeed, it was patrick's SL debut for us, walsh's 2nd game for us and lunt's 2nd game, so to soak up as much pressure as we did from a very good and experienced castleford side to me deserves a hell of a lot of credit, something matterson failed to do

So we're bitter and sour, our coach is unprofessional who doesn't give anyone credit, we didn't even manage to shut down a very understrength and inexperienced side, the ref favoured us, etc. Any more I forgot?
