Unfortunately for Cas comes down to money and teams like Hudds, Hull, warrington and Salford can offer better long term deals. Really feel for you as fans, but you have to trust and back Powell, be great to finish with a final appearance.

Anyway, it's beside the point, he's signed for Hull now anyway. Which kind of doesn't back up the multitude of people saying that he wanted to stay at Cas and was happy there. What's actually happened is that he's used you as a shop window for his agent and himself to get a bigger payday.

Good luck to him I say....he will need it.

No other teams supporters rain fire on their halfbacks more than Hull do if they have an off day, its like the they measure everyone up to Toppo & Peter Sterling.

Thats mainly down to them all being pretty poor since 2006, we have either signed injured or average halfbacks, this is the first time we have signed players than are inform, fit and with potential.

Two very good signings for us, and if we get Taylor (which looks certain), then we have a strong looking squad for next year. The biggest question for me is the coach.

How do you work that one out when he was contracted to Salford?. Just sold to the highest bidder I would guess. Plus it looks like Sneyd didn't want to sign for Cas after all. His agent has done very well for him.

As an outsider, it just looked like Cas were in the driving seat. With a Wembley appearance virtually nailed on and Gill laying it on thick, on BBC Radio on Sunday, about how much income the club are currently raking in. Expected retaining Sneyd to be Powell's No.1 priority.
All irrelevant though if Sneyd wanted to be elsewhere.

I surprised you cant the impact of a good coach seeing the change at your club from Millward to Powell.

Radford has made some mistakes this year, but is still learning, so we will have to see how he goes next year, with this recruitment.

Overrated.

Proud of the club, we don't want to return to times when we payed too much for a player and we haven't been held to ransom by any club/agent. Would have liked to see MS sign but it's not to be so it's onto other targets.

No wonder we didn't see any of the Salford directors in the hospitality after the game. Miserable sods !
