I think Chase has played his last game for CT to be honest. Hull are moving Horne to full-back for next year and are looking at a quality half-back. Chase fits the bill perfectly. I cannot see Cas wanting to loose out financially by sacking him though when they would get nothing. Hull need to come up with the cash on this one and I think CT will let him go. By warned - he comes with a hell of a lot of baggage.

the club are losing out at present by not getting any work from there most expensive employee. If he left now free of charge that would better than the current situation as cas would be free of his massive wages...................we need to be careful that we dont end up paying part of his salary to his new club as I hear he is on a huge salary.

He also comes with issues regarding his visa but nothing that McRea cannot sort out. He'll do well for Hull IMO. Some players just need to get out of their current environment ala Westerman.

I for one don't think its good news. As we saw on Sunday we can play without him and he now he will come back into the team and disrupt our training with Ellis and Orr at 6 +7, i still say get rid of him

I think ellis and chase will make an excellent partnership and will allow orr and milner to rotate at hooker which will make us much stronger.

I can't say I'd agree with that. Like it or not, Rangi Chase is the one World Class player we have at Cas. Yes, Jamie Ellis had a fantastic debut on Sunday but I think with JE controlling the direction of the team and the kicking game this will free up Rangi to do what he does best, play "off the cuff" and create. Danny Orr, as much as he always gives 100%, will be the first to admit that his legs are not what they were and would be better served playing at 9 and interchanging with Milner (until Clark returns).

What a deluded, little being you are. Rangi Chase has won us more games single handledly than he has lost or missed through his misdemeanours. If the club say the matter is closed, then it's closed. We should all move on. Are you also telling us that you have never missed a day's work due to having a few too many the night before?

As good as it is that Chase is back in training, the best news is they haven't been given a week off! 2 weeks for Chase & Ellis to build rapport and get to know each others games, it will do a world of good

Well something that should perhaps have taken little more than an hour to sort has dragged out for near on 3 weeks to the chilling climax of.........sweep it under the carpet and let's pretend it didn't happen.





In the meantime we'll pay the guy near on £10k of wages for doing sweet FA, and get nothing in return...and our BOD wonder why many feel they are a joke.
