No, by a bloody lot! Someone posted on another forum, which Wakey players would you take if you did go down. I answered none, simply because I don't think any of them would improve our squad. I'd maybe take Obst but I think he's too like Rangi.

I would take morrison and obst to add depth if they werent qouta, but they are so i wouldnt bother.

Ferguson and murphy i would take though.

Apart from that there is no one in the wakey squad that would interest me.

I have no desire to fight your opinion on as thats all they are (as are mine) and naturally they will differ. Agree to disagree.

Im looking forward to the match up and cas wakey games always make up a good duel.

Murphy should be number one on list for most SL clubs to take from wakey, he has potential to be a GB back and had a good year last year saving many tries and causing defences problems. Hopefully he will kick on this season but if he does i can't see us keeping him unless wakey get a franchise which is in the balance.

The trouble with Murphy is that he plays full-back, centre or at a push wing. Arundel has the potential to be just as good, if not better and we obviously have Isa and Goldy who can play there. Is he better than Owen, Dixon or Youngquest? I don't know.

I just hope that this season McGoldrick keeps his mouth shut and not get in the refs face or oppostion players.

He had some awesome games at fb and that's where his future may lie. Think he is better than Dixon and youngquest at present and on par with Owen. One would hope to see a handful of cas and wakey youngsters progress to gb standard.

Young players form goes up and down so it's all a case of wait and see for the likes of mutiny, arundel etc.

Wakey will need to play to the outsides and if we fail to do that and try to batter teams down the middle we will come up short most times I fear unless we get hickey over soon and gledhill back to fitness.

We are going to take them to peices and then a nice night out round Cardiff to celebrate

We haven't been able to play a wide game in the last 30 years, so why should we start now? Admittedly our three-quarter line is pretty good, but the only way they've got the ball recently is from kicks; and I don't think Danny Brough is playing.

unfortunately with the roof over I can't see the match being abandoned at half-time.

Like others I have a very bad feeling about this one. When it comes to the one off games there is no better than John Kear 1998, 2005 and 2006 proves that.

I am confident however that when it comes to the end of the season we will be at at least 10 points above Wakey.

My prediction Cas 20 Wakey 30.

JK will no doubt have them so fired up they will be practically headbutting the walls in the changing rooms before KO but i would only expect this enthusiasm to last for 40 mins and by that time our superior level of class should come through and i think a comfortable last 30 to 20 minutes for Cas finishing with a winning margin of approx 16 -26 points maybe 36 -16 to Cas.

They say friendly games give you no information on how a team will perform during the season. That is complete trash. Wakey have been taken to the cleaners by Leeds and Bradford and didn't beat Dewsbury by many. Losing a friendly by 10 points probably means nothing, but having 80+ points put on you in 2 games means your defence is shocking. If we don't score at least 30, I will be dissapointed.

I think you will be disapointed but I hope your not. I have seen Kear pull it off in the one off games to many times.

Hear what you're saying Garth but this is arguably Kear's worst side and you can only play with the cards you're dealt.

I'd second that. Dont normally say were going to destroy any1 esp when playing WT but this is the most upbeat Ive been for a long time at start of a season.
Wakefield to come out all guns firing in first 10 mins, but a few quick try's from the tigers and few flood gates might open.

Hope so, wish I could hide my hate for Wakefield Wildcats but I really can't after what they did to us and then they laughed in our faces I've waited for the day we have the last laugh.
