it obviously feels like a lot longer!

Cracking game and cracking performance from Cas, and as already said before, even better a result when we had 3 kids on the bench.

We could get to grand final and we still wouldn't get our franchise. RFL will see to that and they now have the ideal excuse re the chanting etc to replace Cas with another French side. Widnes handed the rfl a perfect excuse by going into administration, so they were able to hand their place to a South Wales side which has proven not to be a success - no longer in South Wales so demographically still in RL corridor and their crowds are shocking.

Any way we will have to see what happens

Great performance today lads best all season and even better done with a weaker bench than the Giants but young lads put up a good performance - nice to see a lot of the kids getting their chance!! Onwards and upwards

So where now on 18 points, last year we ended on 28pts, can we win 5 more games to equal that, will it be a bridge too far ?

Home games: Wakefield, Harlequins, Leeds
Away games: Warrington, Crusaders, Hull KR, Saints.

5 might be a bridge too far - I'd be happy with 4/7 with that lot.

I've got to admitt 10 mins into the game, and we'd already been exposed twice out on the left and it was looking as if we were going to get a whalloping!

However, the team started to pull togther, play together and grow in confidence from some of the big tackles that went in. All in all, a fine ballanced, team, performance. Good comittment, good discipline, minimal panic passing and plenty of hunger.

Maybe it is co-incidental however, there has been a lot more positive signals from the same players, since Sherwins departure. Go Tigers!!!

Fck the RFL. Carry on winning games, playing some good rugby and that's all you can ask for.

It's almost as though you've thought the World's against you, might aswell be a pain in the neck for the RFL. Keep it up.

Hopefully they'll see sense and keep you and Wakey in there to be honest, but if it's between the two I would hope Cas get the nod to stay in.

Siege mentality kicking in, and celebrating the tries with the crowd means we are all invited into the castle's keep.
After 10 mins the hooter went I was ready for off (only 10 points lost on difference) , but through the eeriely quiet game I stayed.
Loved the pressure placed on the officials re onside for the pens before Chubs score and also putting Hodgson under pressure as Goldy chased him for Chase's first.
The second half was a blur. Bless super agent Brough for his undercover work and Chase's 'Vivaesque' intercept to round the game.
But my lasting memory of the game is the team celebrating with us not as a seperate entity....
Onwards and Upwards as someone has said are my sentiments also.

To be fair, none of us did either.

Fantastic second half performance from us today, first 5 or 10mins was shakey and the first half was pretty even for both sides. Second half we blew you away.

Huby, Chase and Widders were our stand out players today. Jacko did well and Goldy wasnt too bad. Other than that it was a solid team performance which is what we need. Defensively we were great and attacking was pretty good too, we showed urgency in both areas today which impressed me.

Goldy had a very good game, because he houned hodgson rangi got the try in the first,

Rangi dominated the play today and for him to score the full-length last try was pretty fitting. I am starting to get back into the game now and cannot wait for next week where, you would have thought, Warrington will not see it as an easy game.

I wonder who the Giants fan was who rang/texted Radio Leeds to say that the referee coached us to our win ?

Warrington are an excellent team so I think we will need to go up 15 or 20% again on this week.... I also think Nathan Brown called it bang on post match, their kicking stunk yesterday, we are unlikely to be saying the same about Warrington in a weeks time, so we will have to protect posession and field posiiton more....

I'm not going to Warrington expecting to win or even come close. I'm going because yesterday's performance earned my support.

As a team Cas were outstanding yesterday. I feared the worst at 10-0 down but they worked hard to get on top of the game and took deserved lead at the break. The second half performance was dominant, composed, organised and fully justified the eventual scoreline. Huddersfield were by no means on top of their game yesterday but even on an off day they are no easy beats.

Any win against a team who finished in the top four last season is good, but a 26 point win against such a team is nothing short of impressive. Now we just need some consistency in order to sustain something like that level of performance.

Hats off to Matterson too for pushing Westerman further out wide to plug the early defensive leak on the left. It worked a treat.

Exactly. All I want is for them to give 100% effort, which they did yesterday. Even if we lose against Warrington, if the guys give the effort then I don't mind.

Well done to Cas on a great performance yesterday absolutely no complaints from me or excuses about the referee etc , the best team on the day - by a mile too i must add !! - won quite convincingly.
Rangi Chase was awesome yesterday and literally tore us apart and Widders is a monster !.
Always love going to Wheldon Road its a great place to watch RL and the locals are always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to chat and have some banter!.
