Definitely not to be underestimated!
We underestimated Widnes the other year and Fax last year, so a potential banana skin against one of the top teams from the next division down, Catic, Hendo and Rooney coming back adds a bit of extra spice, obviously we will be favourites but take them lightly at our peril, there will be a few Barrow boys out to prove they should be playing Superleague. I would certainly have Catic back down the lane tomorrow!

Some very dangerous players in there. Not sure I recognise any of their props though which is good because we have been shocking in the middle this year!

Im sure I read somewhere that it is in the agreement with Wigan that Ainscough Cannot play in the cup for us as they do not want him cup tied.

Bracek and Noone came through the Warrington academy and played a few SL games for them.

I thought Noone was a 2nd row. Yea, he wasn't too bad a player as I recall.

From the injurys we have, only Owen should still be unavailable. Barrow are far too good for us to be resting players which is annoying given our casualty list at the moment

I would love a game against fev too mate, i never agreed with droping the boxing day derby, seems like backing down to the mindless few.

Would have prefered away myself, never been to barrows ground, and cup away days are always great fun.

You might have liked Craven Park, bit like a home from home but scruffier



Its a traditional ground like yours with the fans right down next to the pitch, Victorian bogs, plenty of terrace and a queue of fans from clubs with rented grounds slagging it off as a dump. However the beers cheap and theres always plenty of it



Looking forward to visiting the Jungle, not been for years. Looking forward to a good day out and hopefully we can make it competitive enough to be entertaining. Oh yeah, and all have a good drink too...

Barrow sign, Matt James, former halifax, bradford and harlequins prop, real player great signing for Barrow.
And
Jermaine McGilvary, huddersfield wing, loaned to Bately last year and made All Star team.

A new Centre also on his way apparently, we are getting lots of healthy compo in all area's of the field, if a little weak in the backs.

Should be a good away following also.

The only eye the've got on a super league franchise is the bronze one in their pants mate, have you ever been up there ?

Would you want your club to share with Wakefield in order to stay in superleague??? I didnt think so!! Thats why Barrow wont merge. And Carlisle is 80 miles by road from Barrow!!! If they as a club are going to push for SL they'll do it alone. Its a shame winning the Championship league, Grand final and being a finalist for the Northern Rail only give us a tick in a box!!!!
