It raises questions though mate when he's reportedly being better than those who have been selected whether yer a conspiracy theorist or not.
Whilst i accept they aren't always reliable there has been a hell of a lot of RL paper talk about this kid attracting serious interest from other teams.

It's subjective whether he's been better than players being selected. Most people who say that point to the fact that they he's a better player than clayton, who has been pretty steady this season, but seam to forget he plays a different possistion. For me our props have done nothing which warrants them dropping, and we've not had many injuries up front which is a shame for Boyle.

Yes put the papers also said that Evans had deffo signed for Wakey this season. Ans Westerman was strongly liked with several clubs last year, inc leeds.

I'm not saying Boyle wont leave, in fact i have a feeling he might.

It's really Matterson i'm trying to stand up for. people are too eager to slate matterson for what they perceive has his so called lack of man managment skills, but they have little if any proof. I think he should be congratulated for the progress the team have made this year.

However, we have seen it over the past few years where players have done little wrong on the pitch and not had chance to prove they can do more. Boyle, Keith Mason and Damien Blanch to name three of the top of my head!

I credit what Matterson has done in the years he has been here, but this is one little gripe that i have with him. Imho, and i know they play different positions, Clayton does nothing for me at all, i just cannot understand how he gets in the team week in and week out

I would like to see the Props rotated a bit more, put the likes of Boyle in with Sarge/Feather or even rotate them with the youngsters like Huby etc

Tbh, Matterson has always raved on about home grown youngsters "they are the future", he isn't taking his own advice really is he?

It's mainly due to injuries and a small squad size. If we had a fully fit squad I don't think he'd make the starting 17. But because Sherwin has been injured players have be shifted around so we have a 2nd rower in Widder playing centre. That leaves a space which Clayton takes up.

You can't have a team of 25 world beaters and for the money he's on I don't see us finding a better squad player.

It also says you are getting snitch from wakey and jackson fron the giants so it looks like you've got the better deal.

Snitch is more of a second rower and jackson aint as good as boyle.

Snitch can handle prop and jackson is better than feather imo and that's what i was getting at.

snitch would be a decent signing imo, not sure bout jackson.

Think most people remember him, not been upto much when he played for us last time, but that doesn't mean he hasn't matured has a player and got better now.

If he signed I would give him a chance, and looking at his stats he makes lots of tackles and doesn't miss many, which is an area we could use improving. Feather on the other hand made a lot of metres, nearly 8.4 per carry. Hope we sign boyle up tho.
