Big game for Higgins, I'm getting fed up of how useless he is so if he doesn't start performing, reserves and a tredmill for Liam.

His effort is there, just the talent is lacking. Unfortunately that could be said for a number of our squad over the past few years

Id start Cooper, he seems to have good stamina levels and is not an impact prop from the bench. Put Jackson and Sarge on the bench and bring them both on after 15 minutes. I can't see us going into a game without cover for Sherwin. I think Thompson did enough to keep his place and I think he might be better under the high ball than Ainscough. If they are going to bomb the wings, it would be nice to have a plan B and give Thompson a go.

He might be better under the high ball then Ainscough but Ainscough is more of a weapon going forward. Maybe use Goldie at 6 and put Thompson at FB, Chase to 7, Sherwin bench?

It might be worth putting Dixon inside Ainscough to cover the defensive frailties, he's definitely outstanding in the air.

Kirk Dixon simply must be put on the left wing, opposite Gareth Thomas, and that wing peppered with the ball at every opportunity.

I have seen him on quite a few occasions. Just to check though is that the Rangi Chase who is in a team one place below that of Michael Witt's going into tomorrow night's game?

Obviously a much better player in a much better team, although the league apparently seems to have missed that fact.

That would be the sensible option Stu, although I feel that grubber kicks may be more effective as with rugby union they do a lot of kicking and catching so that would be playing into Thomas' hands IMO.

How have Cas been playing guys? a 6 point start for Crusaders seems generous I fancy a wager on Cas surely they will beat the crusaders by more than that? Things can't be that bad guys can they??

As far as i can remember we have always struggled at home under Matterson. Strange really!

Just went to work this out and notice that TM is currently @ 62 wins and 62 losses from his 126 games. Points difference of +197.

(Obviously that includes a year in the National Leagues)

That's quite astonishing, especially the points difference, considering the couple of big losses against Saints in the past few years.
