I think it's safe to say Cas need to pull out all the stops to make sure they get Chris "rhino" Heighington instead of Leeds or Widnes getting him, he would transform this pack on his own fantastic player.

you should go after senior for a centre 2nd row i rate lauaki from hull highly, and props id go for ryan ohara and not sure if hes a prop but keith mason from hudds aint bad

Although I still think Senior is one of the best centres in the division on his day, I think with the squad we are compiling we'll be looking for someone who has years ahead of him. Gareth Ellis is almost certainly going to return to Cas in the future, licence permitting.

As for props, I guess we'll be looking for someone English and maybe one Aussie. Suppose that's why we've let Jonny Payne and Clark Thompson go out on dual reg/loan. In the hope that they enjoy the first team rugby and impress.

It is July. I won't believe it until it's confirmed. Nevertheless, he is under contract for the next few years. His agent has said he's happy in Cas and that signals that he'll be more than happy to stay for the next couple of years. It will take a humongous offer 500k+ for us even to consider it.
