The "Tax Man" will not negotiate on this matter....they want 'their' money, and the RFL does not have the financial clout to take them on!

So the fact that the developer is in talks with WMDC inregards to a land swap deal, in regards to your stadium, has nothing to do with EXTRA help from WMDC. And then people wonder why people outside of Wakefield itself moan about the council and the fact that every thing seems to be driven more towards Wakefield. Yes folks we're treated like we are because we're seen as insignificant in the scheme of things compared to Wakefield.

But whos fault is it, in the main it's the clubs fault, they should have made changes and given value for money for the paying fan, lets be honest are grounds are just the same as twenty / thirty years ago and thats not on, no wonder gates and the rest have not gone up . But i also lay the blame with the RFL who push push push for a global it seems game of Rugby League, wtf if they cant sustain the heartlands of the game what the hell do they expect in a world audience . Unless i have missed something but the funding is in place four Newmarket once planning is granted. I agree with everything you have said especially about sky, with the price of my HD i cannot justify paying nearly £600 a year to watch rugby and nick jr!
