We need to make this happen if at all possible. This would be a massive coup for us if we managed to get him. May also persuade a couple of the others to stay also.

Dont be suprised if Hull FC arent competing with you for his signature.

I would expect we would be competing with at least 4 or 5 other teams for his signature not just Hull FC.

No matter what people think of their chairman nobody can deny that he is an astute business man. I think he will have to concede that it is a lost cause and do as business men do and cash in while Marc is still a top commodity. He could go back to Salford sit on the bench all year and go next year for nothing. I cant see the Dr letting that happen.
My guess would be Leeds or Wigan will offer 150k + a couple of good squad players and Mr Sneyd will be offski.

Can't see us being offered 150k+ and a few players with him only having one year left on his contract. Only way I can see him going is if we get offered a good young player for him.

According to Koukash's twitter he seems to allude that he is happy for Marc to go - however, not for free! if someone is willing to pay then he will be on his way which is fully understandable, I just hope the fee isn't too high!

He says that they offered Sneyd an extended contract but he declined it before they signed Dobson (assuming they have conceded he definitely doesn't want to be there and signed a replacement asap)

Apparently, according to the Dr, Sneyd and his agent asked for a release from their contracts and not a transfer so why shouldn't he want a transfer fee? he isn't going to let them go on a free.

The more top teams that rule themselves out just enhances our chances of getting him. Does anyone else not think it may be down to if we can keep hold of our top players or not as I can't see him wanting to stay without the likes of Huby and Clarkey being here?

Shame if you can't keep him. Much as I could do without you having a good SH I think the national need is greater and Cas offer a much better chance of hime becoming an international class HB than Salford.

2 or 3 years down the line Vasty at a push. Quality half-back though who IMO is the perfect fit for us like Tim Smith is at WTW.
