I'm tending to agree with you on this one. Millward needs to start earning his keep.... because so far he has brought absolutely nothing for any aspect of our game and the players aren't playing for him.

At the end of the day it would be doing ARLA players a disservice to call our players amateurs today. Sure we had no half backs and were missing 3 key players but whilst I expected defeat, I at least expected the players who pulled on the shirt to have had some pride in it and to have put some effort in.

As the op says, they Clearly couldn't be bothered to even defend. It was like they had written the game off before going onto the field and whilst it was always going to be a tough ask, getting 70 points put past us is a disgrace! Good turn out from Cas, shame you had to use the South stand, and a shame your side didn't give you much to cheer. It was always going to be hard without halfbacks but I think we all expected s better performance than that.

You were somewhat patched up and defence was not great but the one thing that should out for me was the way Hodgson came in from the corner flag behind the try line and put it down under the sticks passing 3 or 4 cas players walking into the goal area. A cas fan behind was going mental at that.

As for your support - those in fancy dress and that area where great and you should be proud to keep it going - as i always say when that happens you can sulk or just enjoy yourself! you lot certainly did. pity those that walked out with 36minutes left didnt show dedication - never seen anyone leave THAT early before.

I worked out last night that we're now conceding an average of 33 points per game - worse than under TM.

Conceding 70 against a mid-table side who might be in with an outside chance of making the playoffs is simply unacceptable.

I think you'll find that since HKR have been in superleague that we have only once failed to finish below 8th and that was our first season.
