I was surprised with your result last weekend - if I'm honest I expected a similar scoreline in the opposite direction. There's no doubt you're starting strong again, as you have the last couple of seasons. To be fair, you have brought decent followings on your last few visits including those for friendlies. On the down side a lot of those extra fans seem to be newbies with a tendancy to berate every single decision against the giants regardless of it's justification. I stand in the section of the Princess St you guys frequent and find it hard to have the same type of informed banter that we enjoy with say the Hull (FC) fans.

As regards the match itself I expect a fairly tight contest with your defensive organisation and extra quality accross the park taking the game away from us in the later stages. You might not finish in the top 3 but I fancy you to make the GF....although that same prediction has cost me a fair bit in the last couple of seasons.

@Riihilahti Holmes to be dropped is a bit harsh after his performance on Saturday. It was the first time I'd seen him play in the flesh and I was very impressed. I thought he got through a lot of work and was impressive. Also Walker made more metres than any of our other forwards.

I guess it's nice to be in such a position rather than one where the 17 picked itself every week.

Does Clark's addition mean there are doubts over the fitness of Ryan Hudson? 3 hookers seems a lot and Hudson managed just 5 mins last week.
