Considering we already have about 29 players signed up if you count all the juniors that are training full-time already so it's not that skeleton. 24 of those have played SL already.

As for Chase, we haven't broke the bank and we've also renewed the contracts of Owen, Milner and Clark. Contracts ending in 2011 will free up some cash and I anticipate Cas in 2013 and beyond will look a stronger, more dangerous outfit.

As for money I can see the club using this year as a stepping stone and next season is when you see the big signings with McGoldrick, Hudson and Mathers coming off contract there's a lot of money free for Millward to play with.

Just because the Polecats have signed 13 new players for 2012 (and what - 9 departures?) they are in the news ATM. Lets face it - they needed to.

All quiet at Tigers granted but our squad is running at a healthy 25 with a couple more to come in. More importantly the Tigers squad is familiar. Its established - they know each others moves well. Our juniors - who weren't expecting as much game time in 2011 will be better off for the experience.

TBH i agree, i think RW realising Chase was in a bit of a dilema,he took full advantage with this deal.

he would struggle signing for an over seas side, because of visa issues.
And in the NRL he wouldnt stand out and he would probably have to work a lot harder for his dough.
