It just sounds like some over-sensitive precious, I mean it was that bad the police near by did nothing? The only thing that was even close to trouble was some bottles thrown from the LEEDS end, which the Leeds physio promptly picked up and hid in his bag.

| what about the leeds fan a big bloke in his late 20's early 30's and his loud mouth girl friend who decided to gloat to a group of what looked like middle aged women waiting by the exit to the car park when they told them to move along the idiot decided to throw what looked like a carton which had food at one of the women and then followed it with something else which I couldn't see althoug someone said it was a large stone but i can't say thats what is was for certain then they started f'in and blindin at the group the police became involved and had to chase after the bloke and his girl friend they managed to mingle into the crowd then the girlfriend decided to come back and have another go at which point the police got the pair of them. So lets face it every team has idiots lets not tar a whole teams fans just because an idiot lets us down

Except the Police went across to a group of 6/7 and spoke to them, not sure over what, though.
There was another guy who was mouthing off at one Leeds fan and a woman. I just put it down to post-match frustrations and possibly a drop of alcohol. Wasn't abuse, more just a heated exchange over the penalty decision.

Its probably a couple of p1ssheads having an argument and one going ill go on the interweb and tell the world.

You can talk Gronk one of your fans threw a bottle at Sam Obst at millennium I witnessed it so one of your pond life mates know who they are
When we beat you at the jungle this year a section of you moronic fans started hurling abuse and offering out a wakey fan and his young family walking to the bus station wanting
The way the majority of cas fans act bring the whole club into disrepute its about time you policed your selves a got rid of them but o wait a minute if you did that you would have less fans than Wakefield

They were fathers of the young players from Eastmoor who had been playing in the curtain raiser - about 6 of them chanting "your just a team owned by a P*ki". I explained to them that the man in question is neither the owner of Castleford Tigers or a Pakistani gentleman.
This behavior continued during the game and was reported to the Wakey stewards - nothing regarding this incedent heard since.
Real angels are Wakey fans.

Actually this just shows people's perception of what the think they saw is completely wrong! Burrow lost his boot and a Cas player threw it away and he probably put a but too much on it and it ended up in row six of the Leeds end. It was retrieved by the stewards and the stewards threw it back onto the pitch when play moved down field. It was then picked up by a Leeds trainer and return back to Burrow. So no not a bottle
However I didn't see any trouble. There were the odd Vs flicked and a few Wayne Kerr gestures made but that was it

| Similar thread on the V.T, I didn't see any bother outside the ground apart from some verbals between a small group of fans, yet in jumped some Wakey fans branding us all as unpleasant wotsits.
If we all are so bad and the Wakefield-Cas game is on Sky why don't those who were planning to go to Belle Vue save your £20 and go and watch it down at our ground or one of the pubs in the area?, that way we can't cause any bother if none of us are there and those lovely Wakefield fans that are complaining about us ravages can get to and from the match safely!
All the best wishes from Cas fans towards them at franchise time has vanished . Even Mr Glover stuck the boot into the town on a networking site in April...Now i can watch the game and don't have to put money into Glover's pocket

| Well, I heard some people singing "We hate Rhinos" during the game. Now, I'm not one to make absurd leaps of logic, but I've also heard that quite a few Rhinos have been illegally shot and killed in Africa over the last decade. I can only assume, therefore, that Castleford Tigers Rugby League CLub are directly responsible for poaching of an endangered species.
Oh, as well, one time, at Wheldon Road, a kid flicked a v at me. I cried.
I'm better now though.

| Firstly lets stop using the word 'Fans' in this discussion. Idiots are quite simply 'Idiots', regardless of what shirt they wear....and they do wear every different club shirt.
At the end of the game there was some trouble down the right hand side of the ground (Left side from the Leeds end, right side from the Cas end), at the interface between the two teams tickets allocations. Quite honestly, I was too far away to hear any vocal exchanges however, it was obviously going on as I could see people in Cas shirts and Leeds shirts seemingly ranting at each other. The Stewards were quick to attend and draw a separation of these people in this area. I could also see a guy with a Rhino's flag waving it about as much as he could and stood in an area where there were many with Cas shirts and part of the Cas allocation...this was perhaps a bit provocative, and not the brightest thing to do!
It was also disappointing to see two people climb onto the pitch from the Cas end, one in a Tiget suit and the other without a top on showing his 'moobs' and have to be escorted from the pitch by stewards.
So call it half a dozen or maybe even a dozen idiots from within a generally good yet emotionally charged crowd of 13,100! Hence the vast, and overwhelming majority of RL fans in attendance can be proud of the support given to their teams on a cracking day for RL.
The 'idiots' in both shirts colours, tiger suit and 'moobs man' wouldn't be missed if they never attended another RL game.

I agree. And I distinctly heard coordinated chants of 'We Love Leads', which I take to be linked to a speight of nationwide ram raids on Pets R Us stores....

Just as bad were the "We all hate leads" chants. It is required that dogs be kept on leads in certain designated areas (fields with young lambs in for instance) and it is unacceptable for these anti-dog-control attitudes to be allowed to go unchecked.
It'll be anarchy, you mark my words.

| To be fair every club has its bad elements but mostly good elements. A prime example, one of many, was this year the Cas v Wakey game at (old) Wheldon Road. I was there and got chatting to a Cas fan who was very pleasant, knowledgable and fair. He was actually waiting for his Wakey fan friend who joined him. We shook hands at the end of the match and wished each other well for the rest of the season.
I was bemused though at the small number of Cas fans in the Wakey end who had chosen to be there to be provocative. They were verbally antagonising a number of Wakefield fans. Then on leaving the ground I was on the phone when a random Cas fan walked past and gave me the V sign.
I know numerous Cas fans and know that most are decent, fair play fans who show respect.
Every club has bad elements. I was embarrassed and ashamed at Murrayfield a couple of years ago when a so called Wakefield fan threw a half full skiff of beer at some Bradford fans. In good humour the Bradford fans opened an umbrella which was well received and brought laughter to most of us.
I also recall Hull FC away a few years ago when I brought a young lad to his first match. With him being the son of a friend I obviously felt responsible and had to look after him. At half time there was a bit of commotion in chav corner at the KC and a couple of FC fans were thrown out. Knowing the type of fans who used to go to that corner I was not overly surprised but unhappy that the lad with me saw it. Then about 15 minutes later I was even more ashamed when a clearly inebriated Wakefield fan clearly resisted arrest from a police officer. It was a very low night for me as I felt ashamed for such things to happen when I love the game and want others to see how great it is.
All clubs have good and bad elements; show me a club which does not have a bad element. At the end of the day as fans we need to protect our game for what it is. Trouble fans should be excluded. If need be maybe we could suggest to fellow fans of our clubs to behave if we see bother.
As an aside, hard luck Cas for last Sunday, I thought your defence was really solid and Chase had a cracker, again.
Looking forward to seeing all genuine RL fans (of both clubs) at Belle Vue (RSS) in late August.
