| I know we are looking, although I suppose until it's confirmed that we have a place in Superleague 2012, we can't really sign anyone, that's one of the big problems with the licensing procedure.

So much for a level playing field.
Because we've been made out to be one of the team to lose our franchise we cant sign any players until after 26th july. But other clubs can because they know for a fact they wont lose there franchise

I agree, but then I also think it would be a joke if we got kicked out ahead of Crusaders, Harlequins or Salford - but unfortunately the majority of other fans don't seem to agree despite the reasons they say Cas should be still in, are mainly the reasons we should be in above the 3 clubs I have named.

FWIW I would rather have a league with Cas and Wakey than a league with Quins or Crusaders

| Not heard much about next year but suggestions are Danny Orr will do another season.
Willie Isa is out out contract so another centre may be on the cards unless he recovers from injury and finds some form towards the back end of the year.
Andy Coley has been rumoured.

| Here's a couple I've heard:
Keith Galloway (prop, Wests)
Chris Heighington (back row, Wests)
Andy Coley (prop, Wigan)
Ben Davies (prop, Wigan)
Tyrone McCarthy (back row, Warrington)
Ray Cashmere (prop, Salford)
Rob Purdham (loose forward, Harlequins)
Also heard Wildie, Morton, George and Mariano will also sign if/when Wakefield lose their license.
Obvious emphasis on the pack (and quite rightly too) for Chase (new 4 year contract will be announced in July) and Orr (signing for 1 more year).
Hudson & McGoldrick will be offered to other clubs with Widnes taking an interest in McGoldrick to make cap and in the case of McGoldrick, quota room for new players.
Stuart Jones will not be retained, nor will Fozzard.
Dixon, Ferres, Isa & Thompson will sign 3 year extensions and Dean Widders will also receive one more year if the club fails to sign Heighington.

Heighington is real quality, i also think he has an Irish passport so wouldn't count on the quota?
Problem is the likes of Leeds,Hull,Saints etc would be interested as well
If memory serves me right Galloway is a big front rower we certainly could do with.

| Galloway and Heighington would do nicely pair of big units that would give our pack some real good size and presence.

He has an English passport so would not count on quota. However he is a key player for Wests and one of the first names on the teamsheet. Also contracted until the end of 2013. Only hope we have is that Gareth Ellis can have a quiet word.
Galloway is also a class act. Also contracted to end of 2013.
If we signed either of these players it would be a major coup. Both would be unbelievable. Neither is realistic.

| The word I'm hearing is that Wests are releasing a lot of players at the end of this season and because of this the players they are keeping are unhappy and it's all a bit of a mess at the moment behind the scenes at the other Tigers team...all fine over at our Tigers though!

Purdham, yes please but I'd be very surprised if he moved to a Yorkshire club. Would expect him to stay in London or move to the north-west.
Davies & McCarthy I don't know enough about. Coley is solid, unspectacular but would add depth to the props. Cashmere? No thanks.
Quote ="Gronk!"Also heard Wildie, Morton, George and Mariano will also sign if/when Wakefield lose their license.'"
I think the Morton deal has been well reported. Wildie looks a good prospect, I'd stay clear of George and I though Mariano had just signed a new deal to stay?

Would be happy with all that. Would like to see Fozzard stay involved in some capacity if he wants to. He seems well liked, a good role model and a good influence off the field. Lives locally so unless he gets a gig in the Championship I would think he'd be interested.

So you dont agree with 1 Fan and hate all Cas fans! well done you
I thankfully was cuddled as a child and can see the bigger picture, Just because people support different clubs and have a different view( however misguided at times) I still would stand side by side with the 95% of fans of all clubs and want the best for them/ us alike.
I may live i a rose tinted dreamworld but rather that than one where i hate everyone that is not identical in mind and thought as myself!!
I feel for you Vasty and will say a small prayer for you xx

| To me Wakey are our arch rivals, and i would like to keep it that way. Whilst if its a choice between them and us then obviously i favour the bye bye wakey route but it will be tinged with saddness. I really don't see why the level playing field only applies to some clubs - Wakey have had their publisized issues but so have crusaders and quins. This season quins have 7 loan signings playing for them - so how is their development programme working if they have no one good enough to step up???? Crusaders seem to lurch from one crisis to another with debt follwoing them. Salford can't seem to attract enough local interest and whilst they may be getting a shiney new stadium if current attendances are anything to go by a lot of the seats will remain unfilled. All I would ask for is transparency and for everyone to be treated fairly a licence should be given to a team who deserve it now not what may happen if they are given another 3 years.
So until its all decided Wakey you are the team I love to 'hate' but if you are demoted I would be disgusted
On the player front I would be unhappy to lose Jones the lad is a grafter, Orr and Widders should be given another year if they want, Isa looks great when he plays but he's not getting enough game time takes a long time to recover so if he can get right and put in a good stint towards the end of the campaign an extra year 'may' be worth it, most important is a new deal for Rangi (i have heard that this is already sorted but until i hear it from the player or the club I will remain hopeful).
As regards players joining us I haven't really herd anything however I was informed that Featherstone were trying to get Mortons signature but surely if he had a superleague club after him he would take their offer (unless of course fev offered the better deal)
