It wouldnt surprise me one bit if Mcgoldrick went, and i wouldnt be bothered neither, and i can definately see Martin coming in, makes sense after what as been said recently.

if it's true and they want to give us compensation to buy him out of his contract i think the club should snap their little welsh hands off and wave tatty bye to goldy but unfortunatly i think this is just another unfounded rumoure, but it would be nice if it were true

The anoying thing is that he isnt a crap player, but we are using him wrong, at the start of the year we played him at fullback and he was one of our best players, he is not a half back but i think he makes a pretty good fullback (in the aussie sense ie he's a great attacking threat rather than just putting the player who is safest under the high ball at fb)

Does that really matter?. Bottom line is, the guy was out of form but this happens. I agree with the previous 2 posts that his best position is full back. Injury to Chase was the reason behind the team selection against Wigan in the play offs and as mentioned he's not an half-back. There seems to be a 'get rid of McGoldrick' campaign going on at the moment, but least he plays unlike Sherwin and god was he bad at Wigan. And before people ask, a director told my brother (he does business with him) that Chase was injured going into the game, thus the reason for the team selection.

Why? If we feel he is suited to a different position then we will do it. There should be no pigeon hole roles and flexibility is key.
