Yep thats over now...dwell for the rest of the day and forget it it..its gone.
Now our biggest game of the season is next up...Wire at home, a mus win game IMO as wire and wigan are breathing down our necks

We can take a lot of positives from that game, but unfortunately not the win. A few bad decisions at the back end of the game from our players and a bit of panic rugby when we were winning cost us.

Makes you wonder why we do panic when we are winning.
Maybe the team is to young and we needed a old head out there.

Fair point Poppys, but last year it felt like we couldnt win ANY games! Progress it is nomatter how much that hurts.

We'll be better off for today in the long run. Ive a sneeky feeling there might a be few more big games in the next few seasons.

Heartbroken..

We blew it, we play like the losing side when we are in front on the score board. Composure and just basics like 5 or 4 plays and a decent kick. no need for the panic rugby like the team who's losing.
It is a learning curve and this side has the building blocks of a very good team but so frustrating, we had the game today and blew it. Argh the fun of following cas, can't fault the effort though.

I'm gutted.. but very proud of the lads.

Thought cas deserved it if im honest. Hardlines cas fans.

Hudson or Sherwin would have seen us home..... I can't believe we coughed the ball up so much when we were 8 points to the good. We LOST today, Giants didn't beat us, we beat ourselves.

I actually think a bit of great defending on our line cost us the game in a twisted way. 2 plays before their deciding try we held out the right centre when Moore had run ahead of the ball carrier and checked Feather trying to track accross. Had they actually gone on and scored on that play I strongly believe the Ref would have gone to the screen, it would have been pulled back and a penalty to us.. ifs and ands as the thread says.... That said, we had enough ball just not enough guile.

The RO drop goal attempt showed how desperate we were feeling.

Very proud shows we are moving in right direction. Yes they made some mistkaes but every 1 is human. They gave it there best. well done lads very proud tiger.

Tough game, but huddersfields error count kept you in it, nothing more.

You play what's in front of you. Giants were very, very lucky to win that after the number of chances they blew - not many other teams would still be playing attacking rugby with it sewn up. You'll not beat Saints by blowing possession like that. As said, an older and wiser head on the park would probably have seen Cas home.

You didnt have it ever sewn up, and you wouldnt have got out of your half without playin some very good attacking rugby

My sympathy goes out to all the Cas fans who went to the game today. You and the team gave your all and to lose in the last 4 minutes is agony. It has happened to us a couple of times vs Wigan recently and it is so depressing.

the giants got what they deserved in the end, if we had taken our chances instead if making errors it wouldnt of been so close

If you look around the boards you'll find that most of the Cas fans are being gracious in defeat. And 'cup final'? Get over yourselves.
