I know that Ainscough was here initially on a one month deal, however when he was interviewed after the sky match he said that he hoped that he could put in some good performances at cas over the next few months - I hope that means that his loan deal was initially for a month then extended to a longer spell

Apparantly his loan spell ended after yesterdays game.
That makes it a 3 week loan spell due to him not being able to play against wigan next week. Would be nice if we could keep him until the end of the season, fingers crossed.

I would think it's more than likely that you'll keep him for the rest of the season.

Now Phelps has returned we've been able to place Amos on the wing again, so barring a couple of injury's it's unlikely we'll recall him from you guy's, especially when he's getting the chance to play week in week out against SuperLeague opposition.

The kid certainly knows his way to the line.

His defence is a bit suspect at times but can't fault his attack

If we do extend the deal, I would think he wont be allowed to play in the cup, just incase we need to recall him.

As it stands, he is better playing for you each week, than playing for our reserves.

We'd be daft not to extend it imo. We now have everybody fit and Goulding playing very well(who Ainscough would be in competition for a place with). He's a cracking player but it's pointless him rotting in the u20's league.

I can see why that is abit concerning for you guys but there was no way we were going to let him leave us for a year without having a clause to recall. Theres every chance we may get a couple of injuries to our backs at the same time and then we'll need him back.

But imo this helps both us out as you dont seem to be blessed with wingers or pace in your backs and for us it gives Ainscough super league experience plus he'll be match fit if and when we need him

What we need to be blessed with is players like Ainscough who has fire in their bellies and want it, at present we have alot of players that arent good enough and players that are in for the ride, if half of them had the fire and passion that youing Ainscough has then i wouldnt be worried. Unfortunately we have the likes of clayton and sherwin and quite a few more who arent good enough.

All we do is drive up the middle all the time, no one is creative enough, At least the sheep shaggers tried different things all the time, we are so predictable
