Tigers Maul the Wildcats To Go SixthThe Magic weekend curtain was brought down with the bottom four battle between West Yorkshire neighbours and rivals Castleford Tigers and Wakefield Wildcats.
Wakefield are well adrift at the bottom of the table and destined for a battle in the middle eights but a win for Castleford would see them up to sixth and an eighty-eight point win would lift them above Warrington into fifth spot in Super league.

I didn't think we could score 50+ points in 2 games never mind one. What a mess-match.
Denny Solomona looks a real thoroughbred in attack and Ash Gibson took his hat trick well. It will be hard for Carney or Clare to get their places back on the wings.
Junior Moors had his best game for Tigers and I was impressed with McMeeken's effort.
Richard Owen also had a blinder for Tigers.
