That has to be the most amusing comment I've heard.

How many games did he play for you last season? How on earth did him playing the majority of the season at Cas contribute to your inability to not escape the wooden spoon?

To be fair I thought Boyle was ok for us but you could tell he didn't want to be there, especially after his driving ban it must of been hardwork to get down to Salford every day relying on pick ups and drop offs, although not the greatest of forwards he certainly wasn't the worst we've ever had, good luck to the lad I say he has a young family and its life he's trying to better for all of them.

Not very Red League esc I know but I thought I'd give my opinion.

He did well for us and clearly wanted to play. Never took a backward step and seemed to be one of our stand out forwards towards the back end of the season

I think every professional front row forward has the potential to be really good - it's just a case of getting into the impacts right and landing on the front foot. For whatever reason (adn it surprised me as much as anyone) Boyle seemed to be playing the ball faster than anyone in the last 10 games of the season
