Indeed @CastlefordPE have done an excellent job with the year 7 Boys and year 10 girls, My lad is lucky enough to be in this years year 7 final along with 7 other Cas Panthers and 9 Lock Lane lads.

It was a tough run for them having to beat the best teams along the way, Hull Champions (Sirius)- North West Champions(De La Salle)- North east Champions(Churchill)-Welsh Champions (Cwn Rhynmi) amongst others.

The final itself will prove the toughest test of all, they play Royal Grammar School from High Wycombe whom beat Yorkshire champions Brooksbank(Halifax) in the 1/4, You may think High Wycombe ?? The head at RGS is a former Hemel Stags player and the school is an all boys with over 1400 pupils. Add in to that its one of the most successful Rugby Union schools in the country.

Cas will be at full strength so no excuses may the best team win and all players enjoy the occasion as its truly once in a lifetime

FWIW my best wishes for the kids are genuine, they should feel truly proud of their achievements so far., and I hope they win. The banter about Wakefield district was just that, and Tigerades response made me LOL. Some of the other responses border on the cretinous, and reflect badly on those decent Cas fans who can interact with others like normal human beings.

As Binks said, theyve done it the hard way as my lads are Y7 too and that current age group in schools and in general is a very good standard.
