he may have been committed to the collision but he had time to change the point and nature of impact. what irked me most was insult being added to injury by jon walker being penalised for a flop moments later when he had even less time to react.
speaking of walker am i right in thinking he was used only for the first 20mins?if so and he wasn't injured that would seem a criminal misuse of forward rotation bearing in mind the battering we were taking upfront.
still we did make the bulls work for the win - and 26-12 would have been a fairer reflection - but the two points were always headed in their direction. they actually reminded me of the great bulls teams who used to push us back the length of the field in five straight drives although our relatively lightweight pack made the job easier than it will be most weeks.
